The Vincotto Pack
This is a great way to discover what makes Vincotto so unique and different to Balsamic vinegar. It is a velvety liquid made by cooking and reducing the grape must from two distinct grape varietals, malvasia and negroamaro, for a period of fifteen hours. It is then aged for four years in oak barrels, allowing the taste and consistency to develop. Vincotto is not as woody as Balsamic and is best used as a condiment and can be used to drizzle sparsely over game, roasted meats, salads and aged cheeses. It also makes a different end to a meal, a few drops will give a sweet tang to vanilla ice cream, fresh grilled peaches or pears. A teaspoonful mixed into yogurt, fruit and chopped almonds makes a healthful, refreshing dessert. This is a natural product without any alcohol, colorants or preservatives. The Vincotto pack includes the following five flavours, Original 50cl Raspberry 25cl, Carob 25cl, Lemon 25cl, Hot Pepper 25cl and Vincotto glaze 200ml.
