This is a mix of pitted green and kalamata olives. The product comes from Southern Greece and is packed in a re-sealable screw top plastic container and are packed in Brine.
These olives have been pitted, 2 Kilo Drained Weight. Product of Greece.
Buying Olives in this size is extremely cost effective. However, there are a few things to know. First, these olives come packed in a heavy brine (salt solution). This acts as a preservative and keeps the olive in tip-top condition and gives them a long shelf life. Whilst, you can eat them straight from the pot, there are a few simple steps you can take.
1) Soak the olives you want to use in fresh water over night
2) Rinse with fresh water
3) Dress the olives as you wish
4) Finally, create your own marinade and add to the olives
